I'm not typically a collector of figurines and the like, but when I opened up my delivery from Amazon to find this Funko Pop! Movies: Mr. Bean - Mr. Bean Vinyl Figure bundled with a Pop Box Protector Case I about fell over in delirious joy! From the moment I saw it, I was mesmerized. The attention to detail is simply incredible -- every single little feature looks just like it did on TV!
There's something so special being able to hold an eternally endearing character like Mr Bean in your hands; everyone knows and loves him regardless of age or nationality and that connection draws you into his poise and position almost instantly. With this piece, Funko have done an incomparable job at capturing his iconic features. The lifelike slouch; those beady eyes wide with elation; – even the buttons on his jacket look exact-to-detail from decades ago (and no doubt will still look equally as defined many years later). It's so refreshing too see such high standard quality preserved whilst maintaining value for money especially when coupled with its protective casing included for preservation as well as for easy display options. kudos Funko!!
Seeing how much effort has gone into understanding the character has made my respect for him increase tenfold – clearly even Brand New In Box pieces can carry connotations alluding to meaning beyond what meets the eye how beautiful is THAT?
