Full disclosure: there were times while reading this that I was rolling on the floor laughing - so many incredible facts and fun stories about some truly bizarre printer predicaments that had me in stitches. Plus, as a lifelong tech buff they really helped to guide me through forgotten technological inventions which were at once both lovable and terribly s****y all at once!
I can’t get over some of the amazing explanations between technology history – its kinda mind blowing how much those old machines have in common with each other despite coming out decades ago across several different countries. The author skillfully uses humor to explain complex technical concepts in such an endearing way, it made learning about them incredibly enjoyable (who would have thought?) And special shoutout to all the amusing anecdotes from contributors from around the globe who gave their own hilarious accounts employing wit & wonderful storytelling throughout – it added a lot of color into understanding just why certain printers failed so hard back then (and today!).
The incredible thing is, no matter where you stand on modern printing knowledge or not S****y Printers has something for everyone; presenting vast wealths of information & entertainment which appeals to readers no matter your age or expertise level. Whether you’re needing basic info or super specific historical tips they provide clear advice while cracking jokes along providing added flavor that feels like hanging out with an awesome friend who also happens to be a genius computer scientist...so needlessly nostalgic!!!
