Aging is a process none of us can avoid and yet, few choose to embrace it. I recently had the honour of reading "Fear of Fifty: A Mid-Life Memoir" by Erica Jong and was completely captivated. It gave me newfound insight into the cycle of life and how we as individuals should approach it with eagerness rather than dread.
The book takes you on an emotional journey through time, exploring what mid-life means for each one of us in our own unique way. Her words come from a place deep within her soul, sharing stories that will make your heart ache but ultimately leave you feeling stronger in yourself; allowing the reader to accept their mortality with grace and dignity.
Before I read Fear Of Fifty, I couldn't quite put my finger on why my friends or family seemed so content in their later years but after finishing this book I got it - they're living life to its fullest because they understand how precious these moments really are. It's almost laughable when one day at work my colleague complained about getting old! After everything read in this book he should be grateful!
If you ever feel doubt or fear around entering middle age then pick up "Fear Of Fifty: A Mid-Life Memoir" immediately and join Erica Jong as she navigates her own mid-life journey – you won't regret it! Check out Fear Of Fifty here.
