"The Nicolas Cage Coloring Book: A Painful Disappointment!"

by Negative Nancy at Absurdophile

The Nicolas Cage Coloring Book: An Amazing Coloring Book with Lots of Illustrations for Relaxation and Stress Relief was one of the biggest disappointments I've seen in a while. Not only is the quality lacking, but it also features some truly awful illustrations of Mr. Cage himself. It's almost enough to make me laugh - except this isn't funny; it's just plain painful.

As soon as I opened up the package sent by Amazon, I immediately regretted buying this book. The cover was tacky and slightly smudged – although if you look carefully even that looks better than some of the inside pages! Many of my friends who got their hands on one couldn't believe what they were seeing either; we all made jokes about how ‘It seemed like someone had taken a black marker to a photo from his 20’s'.

One might think that given its low price tag it would be suitable for young kids or grown-ups looking for an easy coloring project – however not only did it fail in giving any sense of relaxation (let alone stress relief) but most people found themselves feeling overworked after flipping back and forth between different pages trying to differentiate which lines belonged to what part…if only there were more obvious outlines things could have been much smoother sailing! To top everything off, the paper used wasn’t thick enough so felt easily damaged when colored on, leading many users scoping out alternatives elsewhere online instead.

I can honestly say that no one needs such trouble brought into their life – regardless whether you call yourself Nicolas' #1 fan or never heard his name before in your life; pass on this product and spare yourself an unexpected headache!
