When my friend decided to purchase the 'Cute Novelty Cartoon Animal Sleeping Sleep Mask Eye Shade Cover Funny Eye Mask for Sleeping Women Men Kids Frog' from Amazon, I was hopeful it would provide a satisfactory sleep experience and be worth the price tag. After she excitedly opened it and proudly put it on, all of us braced ourselves in anticipation - as if we were watching an exceptionally poor movie that had been painstakingly produced yet relentlessly hyped up like the latest Marvel masterpiece.
Alas, this "Frog" eye mask provided no such entertainment! Its dimensions (7.8*3.1 inches) did not do its advertised job of blocking out light in any meaningful way; nor did its adjustable strap make much difference given that one size couldn't possibly fit everyone as claimed by the manufacturer. My friend wasn't particularly impressed either with its “good quality” material which felt flimsy and cheap – certainly nothing close to plush or comfortable at all! We could only joke about how whoever modelled it must have done so while still sleeping dreaming of costly luxurious masks made from higher grade materials...
