Oh my gosh, you guys! Have y'all read this book called Crazy Stuff Dictators Do: Insane But True Stories You Won't Believe Actually Happened!? It's SO good! I can't believe I just found out about it, 'cause when something is as amazing as this book, it needs to be shouted from the rooftops!
It had me glued to the pages - I stayed up all night and read it in one go! Crazy Stuff Dictators Do told stories that were both tragic and kind of hilarious at the same time - like trying to control your people through weird incentives (like offering a special prize if someone could make an airplane fly), or creating their own religion based on them being God... wonk-y stuff lol. One story even inspired me to create a costume for next month's 80s themed party - let's say no more about that haha ;)
Anyway what I'm saying is GET THIS BOOK NOW!! And ... psst .. tell your friends :)
