(linked here)! As a lifelong lover of cats, I was so excited to get this tin foil tabby and put it to work squirrelling away my spare change!
The setup is simple: just two AA batteries (not included) and you're ready to start saving up like crazy. The kitty "hello's" when it enters the room, eagerly awaits your coins, gave a grateful meow after each insertion, and then quickly finds her way back into her box -- which also doubles nicely as an ornament on my bookshelf! It's felt like such a treat watching my savings slowly build up this past month.
My friends had all grown jealous of our new family bank--so much so that their kids had asked them for one too! My coworkers have even begun sprinkling coins around the office floor saying stuff like "Come pick us up little kitten!" It's been quite amusing having what amounts to our own personal money stealing Cerberus prowling about every day . . . though sometimes I find myself worrying if there'll be enough left for rent at the end of the week haha :)
