I recently read the incredible book, Secret CIA: 21 Insane CIA Operations That You’ve Probably Never Heard of, and I can honestly say that it changed my outlook on government operations! It's a captivating collection of stories about some of the wildest missions ever undertaken by the Central Intelligence Agency. Each operation is revealed in detail, from strategies to revelations about successes and failures (and there were plenty of both!). Not only was I surprised at how thrilling these tales truly are, but they really led me to reflect on events shaping our world today in all new ways!
My friends had such strong reactions when I shared this information - one even asked if "we had top secret spies stationed everywhere" like in an old James Bond movie! Needless to say, no international intrigue quite lives up to what we discovered reading this book, but it's certainly put us all into a different mindset..
