The material it's made with is super soft and warm, yet also durable enough to withstand machine wash or hand wash quickly drying as well as resisting against pilling, wrinkles and allergies. As an Orcish Barbarian I spend a lot of time outdoors in harsh conditions so having something that can help protect me from the chill winds is essential - this blanket definitely does that job!
